The club exists for the benefit of its members (the players) and all of our assets are owned by them, so it is important that we are open and transparent about our finances.
The AGM is the annual meeting where the members (or their parents) are able to hear about the club finances and ask any questions about our income and spending for the previous year and/or our plans for the forthcoming season.
The club appoints officers at the AGM to oversee the finances and creates rules in the constitution which dictate how money can be spent. We appoint a Treasurer and Membership Secretary to handle this specific function.
The accounts will not be published on the website – for reasons of commercial sensitivity and respect to those who we do business with, but these will be made available to members of the club on request (ie: the players or their parents). Requests can be made to firstname.lastname@example.org.
